Guillain-Barré syndrome

I went and prayed with a family with a 4 year old girl who was recently diagnosed with an unusual neurological disorder called Guillain-Barré syndrome. She had loss of muscle use, some seizure like episodes, was in the hospital for several days, and had been in bed for the past six days. She couldn't walk much, and her mom had to pick her up out of bed and carry her around. Doctors weren't sure what was going on but told mom to expect to deal with the symptoms for six months to three years.

I felt like I needed to pray for mom first, who told me her husband was having trouble with some old habits and had not been home for several days, leaving her alone with the four kids. After that I turned to the little girl, whose body jolted when I was praying over her.

I prayed with them on Wednesday night and on Friday Mom called and told me that her daughter had been "bouncing off the walls," running around, and back to normal, showing no symptoms. She also shared that her husband came home Thursday night and had been praying... that "something was definitely moving."

Healing service

I had the opportunity to speak at a local church on Sunday, and shared with them that "God is good and He is powerful." Then we began to demonstrate that fact, because I believe that preaching should not just be with the enticing words of man's wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power. (1 Corinthians 2:4) Here is what happened:

-Started off with calling out a word of knowledge about a hip, to which a lady responded. Michelle from our team laid hands on her and all the pain was gone.
-A lady who had fallen recently and hurt her back had almost all the pain go away.
-Young mother had back pain go from a 10 to zero.
-Older gentleman indicated he had occasional pain in his heel and neck began to weep as God's power touched him.
-Two young boys said they had high blood pressure, one of which had a constant headache. His headache went away completely in a moment. Joe from our team later ministered deliverance to them after they shared some crazy demonic experiences they've had and they felt a release as that thing was broken off.
-The mother of the two young boys wept openly as God's power touched her while I prayed and prophesied over her.
-A lady had chest pain go from a 2 to a zero.
-A young girl around six years old was having severe pain in her ears. All the pain went away in a few moments and she was able to sit up. When I came back later that night, I learned that fluid had been draining out of her ears all afternoon following the prayer that morning.
-A lady was highlighted to me so I asked her if she needed prayer for anything. She said "No, I'm doing fine. I just have this diabetes." I asked if there was any diabetes in heaven and prayed over her. She felt warmth as the spirit of God worked her over on the inside.

Meeting at Lexington Vineyard

We were invited to share at the Vineyard Church in Lexington, KY on Sunday afternoon where about 15 people came to see, hear and experience if this stuff is for real, and here is what happened:

-One lady was healed of plantar fasciitis (chronic foot pain) while we led worship, which is cool because that is something I've been going after...creating an atmosphere where God whacks people without being touched.

We started laying hands on people and...
-A lady was healed of plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain and a finger injury.

-One lady was healed of shoulder pain when I gave a word of knowledge about shoulder pain. She said when I said "shoulder pain," a heat came over her body and her pain was gone.

-A man was healed of rotator cuff damage and proceeded to try as hard as he could to make it hurt by making throwing motions for what seemed like 15 minutes. He said, "My right shoulder feels better than it has for the last 25 years. There is no pain whatsoever even when I on purpose do the things that used to make it hurt for days. I am so happy I think I can throw a ball again. Sports used to be something I really enjoyed. One thing though... I still don't have the range of motion to touch the middle of my back. I have had to do different things to wash my back since my injury those years ago but now I have hope God can and will restore that too."

-A teenage girl was healed of some allergy problems...she said she felt all cloudy, but after we prayed the cloudiness was gone.

-Got a word about broken ribs, back pain and more shoulder pain, so we linked about six people with those symptoms, prayed, and several said all the pain was gone.

-Wrapped up with some impartation time and laid hands on everyone who wanted more fire. Many experienced the presence of our friend Holy Ghost in a powerful way.

Healing service at little country church

I visited a little church in our area of about 30 people last night where my buddy Jim (Yard Sale Miracle) attends and had a good time...here's a recap.
-After the singing the pastor, whom I've never met, looked at me and said, "Brother, do you have a message for us tonight?" So I got up and told them that the kingdom of heaven is at hand and shared some testimonies of people being healed. Shared a few scriptures, then said we were going to demonstrate the power of the Spirit because the kingdom doesn't come in word only, but in power (and because God said "Enough talk"). Three hours later we had seen...
-At least six healed of chronic back and neck pain. One gentleman had two back surgeries and titanium pins in his neck and all the pain was gone.
-An older gentleman with emphysema and heart problems took off his oxygen tubes and was breathing better than he had in years. Two hours later he was still doing great with no oxygen.
-A lady with arthritis, bone on bone in her knee and fibromyalgia was free of all pain.
-A man with a hearing aid was able to hear me talking from 20 feet away without the hearing aid.
-A tormented young man who lived in a back room (strange, yes) was delivered of a bus load of demons.
Typical stuff that happens when the Spirit of God shows up.

Broken back healed and three saved

We had a good time last Friday night...here's what happened.
-We pieced together some words of knowledge and went to a local park looking for a lady in a white shirt with back pain. Walked up to the first lady we saw in a white T shirt and said "Do you have back pain?" and she said she had broken her back, had constant pain there and in her shoulders. Three minutes later there was no pain anywhere. She was even contorting her body, trying to make it hurt, but she couldn't.

-Next we went a few cars over to some of her friends and asked if we could just pray for finances, since they all said "We're good" when asked if they needed prayer for anything. We got some prophetic stuff about one of the girls and abusive relationships, and God began to speak to her about a bunch of stuff in her life...demonstrating His love for them. Her mom was there and kept saying, "How do you guys know all this?" We talked and prophesied to these two 18 year old girls for an hour, then led three people in the prayer of salvation. After we prayed one girl was crying and said she had "really bad cold chills" all over, and another lady was light headed.

-Prayed for three of the four to quit smoking, after which one girl breathed in and said "I feel clean" then prayed for one of them for deliverance from some other bad stuff.

-Ninety minutes later we were wrapping up and I was saying each of their names so I could remember, and when I got to the last girl I said "Heather" and she said "No that's my sister," and broke down crying. Turns out her sister is in a gay relationship and has abandoned her family, so we prayed that God would fix that situation.

Healed of leukemia

Ken, the gentleman I prayed with two weeks ago who had leukemia (see Children's ER) called me to give an update following a visit to his doctor. Here is the recap:
-The sores and bruises on his arms (petechia) are disappearing
-His strength and energy are vastly improved to the point that he has been taking 1/2 mile walks.
-His doctor is "astounded" at how well he is doing and he didn't need any platelets, which is very unusual.

Children's Hospital ER

I got a call yesterday from my friend Jim, who was healed a few weeks ago (See Yard Sale Miracle), that his son was having seizures and headed to the hospital. So I went there and here's what happened:
-His son Jimmy was in and out of awareness when I got there, not making any sense. Prayed for a few minutes and before I left he asked his Dad to get him a Doctor Pepper. A little better.
-Saw Jim's dad had two hearing aids and prayed with him a few times. He felt some stuff going on but no immediate results.
-Found out that one of the family in waiting room had cancer so I tracked him down and found out he had stage 3 leukemia. I told him I had good news for him, prayed with him and said "Leukemia, go!" He said "That was really strange, while you were praying I could smell this terrible smell like poison or ammonia coming out of my nose." I asked him to get up and walk around and he said he felt stronger and "rejuvenated."
-About that time I saw a girl with a knee brace on and I had a Rhino (the obviously spirit filled hamster from Bolt) moment and thought "Let it begin...let it begin!" because I KNEW she was going to be healed. Sure enough, i told pain and arthritis to go, she pulled the brace off and walked around with no pain. Completely healed.
-A guy then had his son tell me about some anger problems he has been having, so I took his hand, invited God's presence and told anger to go. The kid was speechless for a moment and said his entire back felt cold. Then his dad proceeded to tell me how he is hungry to see God move and wants more of God in his life, so we swapped contact info to stay connected.
-Found out later that Jimmy, the kid who was having seizures, was sitting up, asking to watch ESPN and eating Gold Star Chili...pretty much back to normal.

Healed of osteoarthritis pain

During the outreach time of an Urban Missionary Training (UMT) at Northgate Church of Atlanta (www.ngca.org) last weekend I had the opportunity to see God heal several people, the most dramatic of which was a lady with osteoarthritis, Crohn's disease, diabetes, and a nasty hernia.

Caroline told us that her pain was a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, she couldn't walk or stand up without pain, couldn't bend over, and couldn't bend her knees. Nate, a very bold 13 year old, and I told her that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand (Matthew 10:7) and that there is no pain in the Kingdom. We held her hands and prayed with her, invited God's presence, and a few minutes later she had NO PAIN in her body. She was able to bend over and almost touch her toes, bend her knees, and walk with absolutely no pain. There were two people in the room shaking their heads saying, "She couldn't do that before."

We prayed a few more minutes and she said she felt heat all over her chest and that her hernia was now smaller. Nate asked if she had used a walker or a cane and if we could have it and display it as a trophy of God's healing power, but she said she wanted to keep it and testify to others about what God has done for her.

There were about 100 people from the UMT that went out that afternoon all over the city of Atlanta and came back sharing testimonies of blind eyes being opened, pain disappearing, depression lifting...the usual stuff that happens when the authentic gospel of the Kingdom is preached and demonstrated.

Yard Sale Miracle

Jim came to my wife's yard sale today on a walker and I asked him what was going on. He had not walked since March, had suffered from mini-strokes and migraines, and the doctors said he suffered from "intermittent cerebral ischemic attacks" for which he was now heavily medicated. That sounded like the work of the devil to me, so I told him God could heal him and asked if I could pray with him. He said he used to be an evangelist, but his condition kept him from ministering.

So we went to his van, I declared the Kingdom of God to be at hand, invited God's presence to rest on him and after a few minutes he said the pain in his head was almost gone. Prayed again for a couple of minutes and I noticed that his arm had stopped shaking. He said he felt the Spirit of God touching him so I asked how his legs were feeling and encouraged him to try them out.

He wiped the tears from his eyes, stood up outside, flexed his legs and said "I just had therapy today and I couldn't do that," took a few steps along the van and said, "I haven't been able to do this since March." Then he walked out in the yard with no help and said, "Praise the Lord!" About that time his wife came over, saw him walking without the walker and said, "Did a miracle just happen?" Jim bent over and picked up one of his seven children with no trouble, which (you may have guessed) he couldn't do before. His wife noticed that his speech was no longer slurred and his mouth was no longer drawn on one side.

He was completely and instantaneously healed...at a yard sale! Come on God!

A Divine Appointment

Here are some stories from a recent Friday night outreach:
-Four of us met to pray before going out and I got a word of knowledge/image in my head of a large white Ford van.
-We met up with a family we know and prayed with a young lady who had a miscarriage a week earlier. God gave her some words of encouragement, brought some emotional healing about shame, guilt and blame, and afterward she "felt a lot of relief."
-While that was going on, two of our team prayed for her husband, who got noticeably touched by God...even got a little woozy.
-Prayed with another lady who has dealt with a loss of her adult child recently, and she was touched by God and started crying. We got some words of knowledge about back pain and depression while we prayed, and afterward she said "I don't know how you knew about that stuff, but it's true." I told her we had been reading her mail. We invited the kingdom to come, afterward she said she felt "something lift off" her, and her breathing felt better.
-After walking that street, we went to another street and saw a white van in a driveway. We decided to go after the word of knowledge I received earlier, and walked up to two guys working on a boat in the yard. After some small talk we asked if anyone needed healing in the house...they looked at each other and said, "No, we're good." After pressing a little bit, one guy said "Just pray for healing." It turns out one of them had Stage 2 lung cancer, and had some apparently bad experiences in the church. I told him that God set him up to get healed, and we prayed over him. We'll find out the good news soon.

National Day of Prayer

From Scott:
As most of you know yesterday was National Day of Prayer. The first thing that comes to my mind is a question we heard people ask at Walmart, "Why cant every day be a prayer day?". Our response is, IT IS! To a true Christian every day should be a day of prayer, and here are a few examples of what ordinary Christians do when we put God and his kingdom to work in public.
Todd, Sean and I went to the local Walmart to bring the kingdom of heaven to the public to display God's healing power and the power of prayer. I arrived while they were praying for Ron, a man down on his luck. He had sore feet and back pain. A few short prayers and the back pain was gone, his feet felt better and he told us about his friend that had nothing to do with God. God then told me to anoint a pamphlet and put his name on it for his friend and I know that simple anointed pamphlet changed this man's life.
Then we had a lady who Todd spotted that was limping, after telling us she had fallen on concrete and she was worried about her wrist getting stiff, we put the kingdom on her. She instantly felt the swelling in her wrist go away, pain free movement was restored and she was about the happiest Christian I have ever met. Her sister was with her, and our old friend the Holy Ghost showed up and revealed her depression. We prayed that she would receive joy and that her family life would improve. When we were done, her face looked brighter and happy she encountered God.
Next we prayed for a young girl on crutches. She had a soccer injury and had trouble walking. We told her the kingdom of God was at hand and prayed and she walked away without those crutches. This child was the greatest experience we had of the day. Thank you Jesus!
A woman walked by and asked us if we could pray for her family to have strength over the loss of her family dog. We said sure, then she added a little detail about a major surgery she was getting ready to have. Ha, the true reason for coming over was revealed. She had a thyroid that was going to be removed, but I believe when she goes for preop that they will do no surgery.
It was nearing the end of the day and things had slowed down, so I gave one of those quick prayers, "Ok God its almost time to go, give us one more good one to end on." Well he sure heard the prayer. Two minutes later Todd spotted a woman with a full length back brace. I looked up and said, thanks God. God relieved back pain in a women that had degenerative discs and her pain went from an 8 to a 4 and she realized she was touched by God. She said she didn't expect God to show up at Walmart and heal her back pain, she walked in for eggs and came out with the kingdom of heaven.
Overall it was a wonderful day, we prayed for people, God moved and people's lives were dramatically changed. Just think if every Christian, took just one day to do God's true work that he has commissioned us to do. The face of the earth would never be the same. It would give new meaning to the term Global Warming!

Lots of pain healed and lots of joy

Here are several recent stories of God encountering people we prayed over:

• A guy named Joe had a toe amputated recently and the pain was really bad. We prayed for him after church a few weeks ago and all three of us felt God's presence hit him. After a few minutes we asked about the pain and with his eyes closed and a smile on his face, he said "What pain? I haven't felt this good in months."
• One night in a local Kroger grocery store we met a gentleman named Hank, who was in a wheelchair and just had his kidneys removed because of cancer. There in the frozen food section, we invited our friend Holy Ghost to touch him...and He did. Hank said he felt a "warm buzz" all over his body, and his legs, which he couldn't use, were "humming." A few minutes later his wife came over to see what was going on, and our friend Holy Ghost touched her too. They were really down about Hank's health and everything they have been through, and she had been crying on the way to the store, asking God to do something. After God touched them, they both felt such peace...like weights had been lifted off. Hank's wife said she felt like she was floating off the ground.
  
• Also in Kroger that night, we met a young lady using an electric scooter who was injured in a car wreck last year. She had ruptured one of the vertebrae and her spinal cord was nicked, leaving her unable to walk. After a few rounds of prayer, she felt "something lift off" her back, and some of her pain was gone, our friend Holy Ghost also spoke some words of encouragement and made her feel much more peaceful. She was very appreciative.
• Three of us went into a trailer park near our church looking for targets Friday night. We spotted a guy that had come to church a couple months ago and tracked him down. We found out he recently quit smoking (which we prayed about a few months ago). After chatting for a few minutes we prayed for some pain and stiffness in his knee, which all went away, and proceeded to declare the kingdom in his life. Immediately after that, the guy began coughing and hacking. He sat down and coughed for a while, then coughed up some stuff and stopped. Not sure what, but something came out of him just then, because he said "I feel all clean inside." We went after it again and Holy Ghost gave him a dose of joy.
• Scott and I went to a church near Aurora, IN Saturday night with some new friends of ours, where we had the opportunity to minister to some folks after the service. Scott had a word of knowledge about chest pain, and it turned out to be a young girl there. Holy Ghost wanted to give out some joy so a few people took Him up on the offer. The first lady we touched ended up on the floor, rolling around laughing for 10 minutes. Scott had a very accurate word for another lady, who felt God's peace afterward.
• Last one. Sunday morning we prayed with 5 or 6 people to receive joy after service, and they were all touched significantly by God. Prayed with a lady whose hip and back were injured in an accident and had been diagnosed with scoliosis. As we prayed, we watched her gradually bend over further and further, as God restored her back. When we were done, she was free from pain and had a big smile on her face.
  

Testimonies...it's starting to spread

Apparently this healing stuff is contagious because there are some people seeing God do amazing things through them. PLEASE TRY THIS AT HOME and send me your testimonies.

• Lori prayed for a friend at work who had a hole in her ear drum a couple weeks ago. Her friend came by last week and said "I'm healed." The ear drum had healed up completely.
• Joe's wife had a small bump/growth on her eye that had been bothering her for a month or so. Joe said he rebuked that thing and later that night she rubbed her eye and it came off.
  
• An 8 month old boy went to the hospital last Sunday and doctors said he had a blood infection that would require months of intravenous antibiotics as well as a bacteria problem in his stomach called "C. Diff." I prayed with them on Tuesday. On Wednesday his blood cultures came back clear and the staff said the blood sample must have been contaminated by something on the skin, because it's gone now and there's no way it could go away that fast. We have a different theory. Mom also told me that her son had a procedure on his stomach last year that made it impossible for him to burp or throw up. He hadn't burped or thrown up since September and on Wednesday he started burping and throwing up. Not sure what's going on in there, but I believe God is up to something in that stomach. They went home from the hospital on Friday at which time he was keeping his food down.
  
• Scott and I prayed for a great Christian lady battling cancer last week. She has seen some improvement with pain and the TUMOR IN HER THROAT IS SHRINKING! We are continuing to contend for her complete healing.
• I saw God heal two people of foot pain on Sunday morning that started with a word of knowledge. One man was completely healed of pain in both feet and another guy was getting healed OVER THE CELL PHONE. His pain went from a 12 to a 5 in about 10 minutes and when we got off the phone he was able to put weight on the foot where before it caused incredible pain to even lay a sheet on it.

God is doing amazing things through and for His children. Get involved and you will be amazed.

Cancer, heart attack, detached retina, cystic fibrosis

Here are a few of the more notable healings we have seen in the last few weeks, some of which are still in progress:

• My grandmother was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her lung in August 2007. After thirty radiation treatments and no change in the tumor she went into home hospice care. A few weeks ago she received results from a scan, and she has ZERO cancer in her body now. Her oncologist said the tumor is gone...all that remains is some scar tissue. The doctor also said he thought he saw spots on her liver originally, but he must have been wrong, because they are gone and if she had spots she would be dead by now. Thank you Jesus!
• A lady in our church went into MICU in early March with what appeared to be a heart attack. Two of us were allowed into the room after visiting hours (can you say favor?) to pray for her. She was on a ventilator and being kept unconscious; there were tubes, wires and monitors everywhere...pretty intense. We left the room and sat down in a waiting area outside, and we prayed again. While praying, we both saw an image of Jesus going into her room by Himself and touching her. The next day she woke up normal and the staff said they thought she had a blood clot or a heart attack, but "it must have been a fluke." They said she had kidney failure and other life threatening issues, but as you might guess, that's all good now. She was at church last Sunday when she should still be in the hospital.
• We prayed for Ailene, who had a retina detach following surgery. She could only see a speck of light in that eye and she had stabbing pain. The pain left the first time, but vision was the same. Later that week, she looked up and had vision again for a few minutes, but then went away. Instead of a just a speck she can now see lights as God continues to heal her progressively.
• Prayed for two kids with cystic fibrosis (4 yrs old and 8months old) two weeks ago. The little girl had a scan the following week and the radiologist said her bronchioles look larger and that if another radiologist looked at they wouldn't know she had cystic fibrosis. We are going after both healings and look forward to a clean report for both kids.

This is what happens when normal Christians release the raw power of God and use that authority to command things to be "on earth as it is in heaven."

Signs from God

BOLDNESS

The message for POWER on Feb 27 was "BOLDNESS, One Key To A Miraculous Lifestyle."

• The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth, looking to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him (2 Chron 16:9).
• If you want more demonstration of power in your life, use the boldness you have and watch God move.
• Peter demonstrated this cycle of boldness followed by increased power, followed by more boldness, which was followed by more power...in Acts 2, 3, 4. We see the fruit of his boldness, which included 3,000 saved in one day, 5,000 another day, the lame man healed, and their release from the high priests' imprisonment.
  

God gave Scott a word for Judy during ministry time, and she was subsequently healed of at least two things that had been bothering her. Yeah God.

Raising up Judges and an Unusual Healing

God said He was going to do something unusual last Friday night, and He came through. He gave a word of knowledge about "hips and a cell phone," so we asked if anyone knew someone with hip problems that wasn't at the service. Someone did, they exhibited the boldness to call their friend (not a believer, by the way) and told them that God was going to heal their hips. The young lady on the other end of the phone realized while they were talking that the pain, which had been severe for a few days, was completely gone. Very cool.

The message for POWER that night was that God is raising up members of the body to bring justice, judgment or divine order to restore those who are oppressed. As the body of Christ, it is our job to be the judges or deliverers that bring justice to those that are oppressed.

Judges 2:16 "The Lord raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them."
Isaiah 1:26 "I am going to restore your judges, as at the first..."
John 5:27 says Jesus was given authority to execute judgment (bring justice) because He is the son of man , not because He was the son of God. Interesting...
Obadiah 1:21 says that saviors, deliverers or judges shall come up from mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau.

Jesus gave us the authority (Luke 10:19) and expects us to get to work, delivering His children out of the hand of those that robbed them. We're talking about people who have been robbed by cancer, depression, poverty, diabetes, back pain...anything that Jesus paid for. We are called to execute justice and bring things into order, "on earth as it is in heaven."

With Healing In His Wings

"But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things," says the LORD Almighty." (Malachi 4:2-3)

This was the word for the first POWER service on January 23, and I believe it is a commission for those willing to accept it. The word "wings" in Hebrew is also translated as "armies." Jesus is the "Sun of righteousness" and we are the healing armies that will trample down the kingdom of darkness while expanding the Kingdom of God. This is what happens every time someone is freed from sickness, depression, disease, or the bondage of sin, which is exactly what we are equipping the body to do.

Family Discount Update- good news!

Here is an update on the gentleman we prayed for a couple of weeks ago who had cancer. His wife was healed of arthritis, back pain and broken ribs and has been testifying about God ever since. She called me this week to tell me her husband was in the hospital and that she had good news and bad news. The good news is that most of the cancer in his body was either inactive, the same size or shrinking, which was REALLY good news since the cancer was so aggressive he had been given only a few months to live.

The cancer on his spine had shrunk to the point that an MRI or X ray now revealed a fractured vertebrae, which was previously covered up with cancer. Now the only active cancer was in a lymph node under his arm. We prayed over him in the hospital and expect more good news soon!

We also prayed for their son, who had multiple injuries from car and motorcycle wrecks, diabetes, and is mostly blind in one eye. By the time we were done the pain in his shoulder was gone, mobility was better, his back was not hurting at all, and best of all vision in his bad eye was progressively getting better. The pressure in that eye that caused headaches was gone and his vision went from a 2 to a 4 on a scale of 1-10. We look forward to his complete healing too. More to come on this family...

Isaiah 40:31 "...they shall walk and not faint."

A pair of us set up a time this week to visit a couple of saints in their eighties, who have been unable to come to church because of pain, arthritis, numbness, etc. that made it very difficult to drive or walk. Though the enemy tried to hinder us in a variety of ways we made it there before church on Wednesday night.

As we began to praise God and pray, the presence of God came into that living room with healing power and a peace that really is hard to describe. An hour later the arthritis in Mrs. Kay's back and shoulders was gone and she could walk a lot better. Her husband, "Bear" got a Holy Ghost knee replacement as stuff popped and moved around in his knees. (He said our hands felt hot like heating pads.) He was also able to feel and move his feet, which were previously numb. No longer needing any canes, he walked around the house and up the stairs better than he has in a long time.

It was a delivery of His promise in Isaiah 40:31, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."

On January 8, 20009 two of us went to pray for a man that was dying of cancer, with 3-6 months to live. One of the ladies healed in the grocery store referred us to him. Big Dave said the cancer became unbearable a year earlier, that it was on his spine, brain, lungs, shoulder...all over, and that aside from taking chemo, walking was very difficult and he had little strength in his right arm. When we were finished praying, he was able to walk more than he had in a long time and he felt something had lifted off him. We expect a full good report of no cancer very soon.

We also prayed for his wife, whose back was ruined 25 years ago, resulting in a few fused vertebrae, a lot of pain, and an electronic device in her body with wires running to her spine...they called her the bionic woman. She also had some weird bacteria that came up occasionally in her stomach that exhibited cancer cells and messed up her digestive system. This ailment, along with the stress of her husband's condition had caused her to lose a lot of weight.

Fast forward to a few days later with the good news: I called to check on them and found that Big Dave was walking better, getting more strength in his legs and feeling better in general. God REALLY moved on his wife: she was healed of arthritis in her hips (she can no longer feel and hear bones grinding), her back feels completely better, her appetite was back with a vengeance, and SHE REALIZED THAT GOD HEALED SOME BROKEN RIBS WE DIDN'T EVEN TALK ABOUT! Now she is testifying about what happened, telling her friends of the good things God has done for her family. Way to go God!

We are learning a few things about ministering healing:
1. Don't pray for the sick, administer God's healing power.
2. Deal with the spiritual first, then the physical. Rebuke sickness and tell it to go, then command the body to be healed.
3. Don't quit. We spent around an hour with each person, praying, asking questions, looking for results, then praying again, looking for specific things to go after. Sometimes you don't see results after the first time, but you will gain momentum as you continue in faith.
4. Don't rush. God gave some words of knowledge as we prayed and showed us things the people didn't even tell us about.

More grocery store healing

Later I went back to the same Kroger (which we have now declared property of the Kingdom of God) and took along my buddy Scott who wants to move in this kind of stuff. I told him God showed me someone with a walking cane and someone with hearing aids, so, a little nervous, we went looking for them. We prayed for a lady in an electric scooter who had arthritis, broken ankle, knee replacement, and after several rounds of praying she experienced a measure of relief in her neck and back. She said “Both of your hands are really hot.” While she was talking, Scott spotted a guy with a cane, but by the time we were done he got away from us.

Next we camped out at both entrances looking for hearing aids. Scott called me and said he saw two people in a car in the parking lot using sign language so we walked up, asked if someone was deaf and found that the driver, Lenny, had been completely deaf since birth. We stuck fingers in his ears, laid hands on him, rebuked deafness, commanded the ears to open, then asked his wife to see what was different. He signed to her that he could feel the vibrations from my voice, which he never felt before, and that his hearing, which was previously zero, was now a two or three out of ten. Very cool.

By the way, we're going to get that cane.

Two healed in the grocery store

I decided I would stop by a Kroger grocery store on the way home from work one day to pray for some folks, and when I asked God what he wanted to do I saw a lady in an electric scooter. So I tracked down the first person I saw in a scooter and asked her what caused her to need the scooter. Diane told me she had severe pain that shot up her leg when she walked. After a couple brief prayers the pain was gone from her knees and she could walk much better. Then I noticed another lady in scooter twenty feet away, so I asked Diane to go tell her what God just did to her. (Figured she should get right to work in the Kingdom) This lady proceeded to tell me how she was driving a semi truck ten years ago and was hit by a train, thrown hundreds of feet, resulting in constant pain since then, which prevented her from working. The first time I prayed she said her neck felt a little better. After I prayed the second time, putting my finger on her lower back, she looked at me and said “What did you do?” The pain in her neck and back was completely gone, she had full range of motion in her neck and could stand without any pain for the first time since accident TEN YEARS AGO. She said the pain went from an 8 to zero on a scale of 1-10.

No more crutches

While I was walking through the lobby of Children's Hospital I came up behind a lady in her late fifties on crutches who was in obvious pain and moving at a crawl speed. Being the great man of faith I am, I said “God if you have her step into a waiting area I’ll know this is you and I’ll pray for her.” She hobbled right past the waiting area. Since that didn’t work I scraped up my boldness and asked her what was wrong and if I could pray for her. She said arthritis had been causing so much pain for the past 18 months she had to use crutches, which messed up her back too. So in the main entrance of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (it couldn’t be somewhere discreet) I put my hands on her knees, declared Jesus is King over arthritis commanded things to come back into order. She walked around and said her right knee felt great but the left one still hurt. When I prayed for the left knee something in her leg snapped and startled both of us. After praying three or four times the pain in her back and knees went away and she walked off without crutches.

Miraculous head trauma recovery

A 10 or 11 year old boy had an ATV accident on December 27, 2008 and his injuries included a fractured skull, damaged brain stem, fractured neck, and fractured back. Doctors had to pick skull fragments out of his brain and told his family that brain stem injuries are inoperable and that they expected definite brain damage if he even survived for 72 hours. We went to the hospital and prayed over him the following Monday. Long story short, less than two weeks later he is breathing on his own, alert, walking, talking, eating and going through physical therapy. They will take his neck brace off in a few days, because there is no more evidence of a neck or spinal fracture, and they plan on sending him home on February 2. The hospital staff are amazed and said they have never seen such a severe head trauma case recover so quickly.
